На портале Change.org организован сбор подписей под обращением, адресованным1 Правительству Москвы и Мэру столицы, в котором содержится требование о разблокировке социальных карт москвича для пенсионеров из группы риска и граждан с хроническими заболеваниями, которые не делают прививки от коронавируса, с целью льготного и бесплатного проезда в общественном транспорте.

Ранее Мэр Москвы Сергей Собянин издал указ от 29 декабря 2020 г. № 127-УМ, в котором определено, что приостановленная в связи с ограничительными мерами возможность использования для льготного и бесплатного проезда транспортного приложения социальных карт возобновляется при условии вакцинации против новой коронавирусной инфекции через 14 календарных дней после второй прививки вакциной, прошедшей государственную регистрацию. При этом для студентов московских вузов, которые также используют социальные карты, указом Мэра Москвы от 5 февраля 2021 г. № 7-УМ возобновлена возможность использования для льготного и бесплатного проезда транспортного приложения социальных карт без какого-либо условия по обязательной вакцинации.
Инициаторы петиции полагают, что такое решение московских властей является примером дискриминации отдельных категорий населения, представители которых имеют право на наличие своих точек зрения на пандемию. Петицию подписали уже 27 205 человек.
