При этом планируется уточнить, что договор ОСАГО, в котором укажут только тип (категории) транспортного средства, будет действовать в отношении любого транспортного средства, находящегося во владении страхователя. Однако указанное положение станет действовать только при соответствии транспортного средства указанному в договоре.

Также ожидается, что на величину страховой премии, уплачиваемой страхователем, будет влиять только его возраст, стаж и аварийность. А при продаже одного автомобиля и приобретении другого той же категории страхователь сможет не менять страховой полис и требовать от страховщика оставшуюся сумму страховой премии по предыдущему договору.
В случае принятия закон вступит в силу 1 июня следующего года.
