ФПА РФ разместила на своем официальном сайте1 советы гражданам по поводу того, как обезопасить себя от действий мошенников, прикрывающихся именами адвокатских образований и юридических фирм.
Палата отмечает, что в последнее время участились случаи, когда мошенники, представляясь сотрудниками известных и уважаемых юридических фирм и адвокатских образований, предлагают услуги гражданам и путем обмана получают от них деньги.
ФПА РФ рекомендует до того, как заключить договор и перечислить оплату за юридические услуги, выполнить следующие шаги:
Найти официальный сайт соответствующей юридической фирмы / адвокатского образования, в том числе через рейтинговые агентства, такие как Право-300, Lexis Nexis Group, Legal Media Group, Practical Law Company, Chambers & Partners, Legal500, IFLR1000, WTR1000 и другие. Дело в том, что мошенники часто используют фишинговые веб-сайты, когда домен отличается от официального домена юридической фирмы / адвокатского образования на одну букву или один символ. Поэтому лучше удостовериться в правильности адреса с помощью баз рейтинговых агентств. Проверить, соответствует ли адрес электронной почты, с которого поступило предложение по оказанию юридических услуг, официальному домену юридической фирмы или адвокатского образования. Сотрудники юридических фирм и крупных адвокатских образований ведут переписку с клиентами с помощью корпоративного домена. Поэтому использование личной почты должно насторожить. Обратиться напрямую в юридическую фирму или адвокатское образование по контактным данным, указанным на их сайте. Проверить банковские реквизиты, по которым просят перевести денежные средства. Это не должны быть счета физических лиц или подозрительных организаций.
