ФПА РФ разместила на своем официальном сайте1 советы гражданам по поводу того, как обезопасить себя от действий мошенников, прикрывающихся именами адвокатских образований и юридических фирм.
Палата отмечает, что в последнее время участились случаи, когда мошенники, представляясь сотрудниками известных и уважаемых юридических фирм и адвокатских образований, предлагают услуги гражданам и путем обмана получают от них деньги.
ФПА РФ рекомендует до того, как заключить договор и перечислить оплату за юридические услуги, выполнить следующие шаги:
Найти официальный сайт соответствующей юридической фирмы / адвокатского образования, в том числе через рейтинговые агентства, такие как Право-300, Lexis Nexis Group, Legal Media Group, Practical Law Company, Chambers & Partners, Legal500, IFLR1000, WTR1000 и другие. Дело в том, что мошенники часто используют фишинговые веб-сайты, когда домен отличается от официального домена юридической фирмы / адвокатского образования на одну букву или один символ. Поэтому лучше удостовериться в правильности адреса с помощью баз рейтинговых агентств. Проверить, соответствует ли адрес электронной почты, с которого поступило предложение по оказанию юридических услуг, официальному домену юридической фирмы или адвокатского образования. Сотрудники юридических фирм и крупных адвокатских образований ведут переписку с клиентами с помощью корпоративного домена. Поэтому использование личной почты должно насторожить.
