Депутаты Госдумы Сергей Вострецов и Юрий Волков считают необходимым установить правило, в соответствии с которым расходные обязательства субъектов РФ по выплатам почетным ветеранам труда не могут быть прекращены в связи со сменой места жительства последних. В этих целях планируется дополнить ст. 10 Федерального закона от 12 января 1995 г. № 5-ФЗ «О ветеранах» новой ч. 4.
Необходимость нововведения аргументируется тем, что повсеместно, одним из критериев получения звания «ветеран труда» помимо трудового стажа на данной территории и наличия наград является необходимость проживания на территории того или иного региона страны. А это приводит к тому, что в случае переезда на постоянное проживание в другой регион страны ветераны лишаются положенных им льгот1.
В случае принятия закон вступит в силу по истечении 30 дней со дня его официального опубликования. Напомним, что 5 апреля в Госдуму был внесен законопроект, в случае принятия которого с 1 июля 2021 года граждане смогут узнавать о полагающихся им льготах через единый колл-центр.
