С такой инициативой1 выступила группа депутатов Госдумы. Авторы законопроекта предлагают упростить порядок получения гражданства и вида на жительство в России для граждан отдельных государств, процедура выхода из гражданства которых затруднительна, в том числе по политическим причинам.
В частности, при получении вида на жительство предполагается не распространять на этих лиц требование о представлении документа, подтверждающего обращение иностранного гражданина с заявлением об отказе от имеющегося у него гражданства, или документа о невозможности отказа от такого гражданства. Речь идет о гражданах государств, включенных в специальный перечень, утверждаемый Правительством РФ.
