Правительство РФ на своем официальном сайте анонсировало внесение в Госдуму соответствующего законопроекта.
Документ направлен на расширение круга нотариальных действий, которые могут быть совершены в электронной форме удаленно (без личной явки заявителя к нотариусу) за счет включения в него следующих действий:
свидетельствование верности перевода документов с одного языка на другой; передача документов физических и юридических лиц другим физическим и юридическим лицам; принятие в депозит денежных средств; взыскание денежных сумм или истребование имущества от должника по исполнительной надписи нотариуса; депонирование нотариусом безналичных денежных средств или бездокументарных ценных бумаг; обеспечение доказательств в виде осмотра сайта в Интернете; выдача выписки из реестра уведомлений о залоге движимого имущества.
При этом планируется прописать порядок совершения нотариальных действий удаленно. В частности, предусматривается подача нотариусу через единую информационную систему нотариата заявления о совершении нотариального действия с приложением установленных документов в электронной форме или их скан-образов, изготовление нотариусом документа в электронной форме и направление его обратившемуся (либо выдача по его просьбе на бумаге). Уточняется, что заявление может быть передано через Единый портал госуслуг.

Также законопроектом установлена возможность получения нотариусом при совершении нотариальных действий через единую информационную систему нотариата сведений, содержащихся в других информационных системах, и проверки сведений, представленных заявителем.
По словам Председателя Правительства РФ Дмитрия Медведева, законопроект связан с цифровизацией российской экономики. Ожидается, что его принятие позволит выполнять часть нотариальных действий дистанционно за счет использования специальной информационной системы. «Учитывая размеры нашей страны, надеюсь, это поможет гражданам и бизнесу экономить немало времени и денег», – подчеркнул премьер-министр.
