Роспотребнадзор рекомендует при получении кредитной карты в банке сразу подключить интернет-банк и услугу мобильный банк на телефон. С их помощью пользователь сможет контролировать остаток на своем счете и отслеживать все операции по карте. Также интернет-банк позволит через интернет на компьютере или на телефоне заходить в личный кабинет и следить за своим счетом. Последний будет полезен и при выходе за пределы льготного периода – он поможет соблюдать график платежей по кредиту. Кроме того, эксперты не советуют записывать пин-код на обратной стороне карты (лучше запомнить его или записать в надежном месте).
Часть советов касается соблюдения мер безопасности при использовании кредитной карты для оплаты покупок. Речь идет о том, что:
при совершении покупок в магазинах карта всегда должна быть в поле видимости ее держателя;при вводе пин-кода необходимо прикрывать терминал рукой от чужих глаз;не следует никому отдавать карту на время (подчеркивается, что мошенникам, чтобы снять деньги с чужой карты, пин-код не нужен, через интернет можно снять деньги, зная только номер карты, период ее действия и код CVC);небезопасно использовать кредитную карту для совершения покупок через интернет (для этих целей целесообразно завести другую карту).
Кроме того, эксперты предостерегают держателей кредитных карт от необдуманных покупок, так как наличие свободных денег на карте повышает вероятность их совершения. Поэтому они призывают покупать только действительно необходимые товары и помнить, что потраченные деньги нужно будет вернуть в любом случае.
Также в числе рекомендаций – по возможности использовать кредитную карту в льготный период, не предусматривающий уплаты процентов, а если такой период прошел, то строго соблюдать график платежей по кредиту. «Не забывайте, что за просрочку платежа начисляется штраф за каждый день просрочки», – предостерегают специалисты службы. Следует помнить и о том, что при снятии денег наличными в банкомате за эту услугу берут 3-5% от суммы снятия (льготный период в данном случае не действует и деньги нужно будет возвращать с процентами).
Что касается действий в случае утери кредитной карты, то Роспотребнадзор призывает срочно позвонить по бесплатному номеру, указанному на карте, чтобы заблокировать ее. Не помешает заранее записать этот номер себе в телефон.
