4 сентября прошла презентация новой книги председателя Комитета Госдумы по государственному строительству и законодательству Павла Крашенинникова «Страсти по праву: Очерки о праве военного коммунизма и советском праве. 1917-1938».
«В качестве эпиграфа для книги я использовал фразу Фридриха Ницше: «Если долго всматриваться в бездну, бездна начинается всматриваться в тебя». В работе дана не просто общая характеристика права того периода, но и конкретных отраслей. Отдельная глава посвящена НЭПу, в которой повествуется о гражданском, гражданско-процессуальном и земельном праве. Цель издания – через акты, конкретные примеры и лиц представить право того периода на ваш суд и заинтересовать в истории тех времен», – рассказал о своей работе Павел Крашенинников.
Также автор отметил, что в книге в числе прочего рассматриваются такие отрасли, как уголовное, уголовно-процессуальное и уголовно-исполнительное право. Кроме того, в числе упомянутых отраслей транспортное, налоговое, наследственное право и законодательство «о насущном»: трудовое, жилищное и семейное.
Крашенинников пояснил, что презентация книги приурочена к столетию принятия постановления «О красном терроре». А председатель Ассоциации юристов России Сергей Степашин рекомендовал прочитать издание студентам.

«Само слово «страсти» в названии вызывает интерес. Впрочем, период 1917-1938 годов действительно был бурным в плане развития права. Павел Владимирович четко акцентировал внимание на существовавшей в тот период дискуссии при формировании советской модели права. Помимо этого, в книге рассматриваются случайные и субъективные причины распада «мегамашины» Российской империи, а затем повествуется о формировании новой», – сказал о работе Крашенинникова ректор МГЮА им. О.Е.Кутафина Виктор Блажеев.
Компания «Гарант» поздравила автора с выходом книги и пожелала дальнейших творческих успехов в исследованиях истории права.
