Документом1 определены возможные полномочия межведомственных комиссий по вопросам организации отдыха детей и их оздоровления. В их числе:
обеспечение согласованных действий и взаимодействия заинтересованных органов и организаций; подготовка рекомендаций для организаций отдыха детей и их оздоровления по вопросам организации отдыха и оздоровления детей на территории субъекта РФ; проведение информационно-разъяснительной работы с руководителями организаций отдыха и оздоровления детей, в т. ч. в форме ежегодных семинаров; анализ результатов оздоровительной кампании детей по итогам летнего периода времени и по итогам года.

Включать в состав комиссий предлагается и представителей региональной общественной палаты и иных общественных объединений.
Автор инициативы считает, что принятие законопроекта будет способствовать повышению уровня безопасности, а также качества услуг, предоставляемых организациями отдыха и оздоровления детей.
