Деловые мероприятия Форума посетили 79 иностранных делегаций, возглавляемых Министрами Юстиции, Председателями Конституционных Судов, Руководителями профильных международных ассоциаций. Форум также посетили главы авторитетных международных институтов.В рамках деловой программы Форума состоялось 111 мероприятий. На дискуссионных сессиях выступили более 500 спикеров, 40% из них – иностранцы, 60% – представители России. Среди выступавших – выдающиеся профессионалы, легендарные ученые, уникальные эксперты в различных областях права. Гости Форума обсудили различные проблемы в сфере права, финансов, бизнеса, искусства и законотворчества. В этом году деловую программу дополнили новыми форматами – игровыми судебными процессами. В формате moot-court участники обсуждали насущные вопросы налогообложения и арбитража. На площадке Форума также состоялись презентации российских ведомств и лекции ведущих специалистов в сфере права.Впервые в рамках Форума был проведен Международный форум по банкротству. В юридическом марафоне дискуссий приняли участие представители более 50 стран — юристы, специалисты банковского сообщества, представители законодательной и исполнительной власти, представители международных организаций. Эксперты обсудили совершенствование законодательства о несостоятельности и его влияние на инвестиционный климат государства, правовые пути регулирования финансового кризиса и другие актуальные проблемы в сфере банкротства. Специальные сессии в рамках Форума по банкротству провели Центральный банк РФ, Федеральная налоговая служба, Агентство ипотечного жилищного кредитования и Внешэкономбанк.В рамках Пленарного заседания с участием Председателя Правительства Российской Федерации Дмитрия Медведева и Министра юстиций Российской Федерации Александра Коновалова состоялась церемония учреждения Премии Петербургского Международного Юридического Форума. Планируется, что Премия будет присуждаться ежегодно за выдающуюся научную работу в сфере гражданского и международного частного права. В состав Экспертного комитета вошли ученые с мировым именем, определившие развитие современной правовой науки, на трудах которых воспитывались поколения современных юристов. Право выдвижения кандидатов будут иметь лучшие университеты на международной арене, занимающие ведущие позиции в мировых академических рейтингах. Впервые Премия будет вручена в 2018 году.
