Правительство РФ вводит постоянный мониторинг цен на отдельные виды потребительских товаров и услуг (распоряжение Правительства РФ от 27 февраля 2021 г. № 497-р). Федеральные органы исполнительной власти будут осуществлять мониторинг, а Минэкономразвития России – на основе представленных данных анализировать динамику цен на соответствующие потребительские товары и услуги и представлять в Правительство РФ предложения по мерам регулирования, направленным на обеспечение сбалансированности рынков потребительских товаров и услуг.
Утвержден перечень групп таких товаров и услуг. В частности, Минсельхоз России будет курировать цены на мясо, рыбу, масло, молоко и молочную продукцию, яйца, сахар, плодоовощную продукцию, табачные изделия и т. д., Росалкогольрегулирование – цены на алкоголь.
Минпромторг России установит мониторинг за ценами на одежду, обувь, парфюмерно-косметические товары, мебель, строительные материалы, средства связи и другие виды товаров, Минцифры России – за ценами на услуги связи.

Минздрав России проследит за ценами на лекарства, медизделия, санаторные услуги и медуслуги.
Минстрой России проконтролирует цены на ЖКУ, Минэнерго России – на бензин (АИ – 95, АИ – 93) и дизельное топливо. Минтранс России обеспечит мониторинг цен на услуги по перевозке пассажиров автомобильным (кроме такси), городским, железнодорожным и воздушным транспортом.
Минпросвещения России проконтролирует цены на дошкольное образование (воспитание), а также в части общего, среднего профессионального, дополнительного образования, а Минобрнауки России – в части высшего образования (в том числе дополнительного в пределах компетенции).
За Минкультуры России закреплен мониторинг цен на услуги организаци культуры, а за Ростуризмом – стоимость суточного проживания в гостиницах, мотелях, хостелах.
