С 6 по 8 декабря в Москве пройдет IX Всероссийский съезд судей. В мероприятии примут участие 780 делегатов. В том числе они представят КС РФ, ВС РФ, а также арбитражные суды, областные и равные им суды, районные суды и т. д.
Как сообщается на официальном сайте Совета Судей РФ, на съезде, в частности, выступят Председатель КС РФ Валерий Зорькин и Председатель ВС РФ Вячеслав Лебедев. Кроме того, по информации пресс-службы Президента РФ Владимира Путина, в мероприятии примет участие и глава государства.
Планируется, что участники съезда обсудят актуальные вопросы и проблемы деятельности судебной системы за последние четыре года и определят пути ее развития. Кроме того, ожидается, что предметом дискуссии станет внесение изменений в Кодекс судейской этики, принятый на предыдущем съезде 19 декабря 2012 года.
Также на мероприятии сформируют новые составы Совета судей РФ, Высшей квалификационной коллегии судей РФ и Высшей экзаменационной комиссии судей по приему квалификационного экзамена на должность судьи.
Напомним, в соответствии с действующим законодательством, Всероссийский съезд судей является высшим органом судейского сообщества. Он правомочен принимать решения по всем вопросам, относящимся к деятельности судейского сообщества, за исключением тех, которые относятся к полномочиям квалификационных коллегий судей. Съезд правомочен утверждать кодекс судейской этики и акты, регулирующие деятельность судейского сообщества. Решения съезда принимаются простым большинством голосов, если им не установлен иной порядок принятия решений (ч. 1 ст. 6 Федерального закона от 14 марта 2002 г. № 30-ФЗ «Об органах судейского сообщества в Российской Федерации»).
